Pierre Rougon

Pierre Rougon farms 52 hectares in Beaumes de Venise. The vines are planted on tiered terraces at an altitude of between 150 m and 330 m, nestled at the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains. Pierre also runs a successful negociant business, focused on the wines of the Rhone.

Muscat Beaumes de Venise

100% Muscat estate bottled and fermented in the traditional method producing Vin Doux Naturel, with the addition of a neutral grape spirit to the semi fermented wine. The grapes are hand harvested from vineyards rich in limestone and alluvial soils.

Cotes du Ventoux

The grapes are grown on the stony, clay and limestone soils of the Ventoux. Hand harvested with strict hand sorting. Stainless steel fermentation followed by aging 6 months in neutral oak before release.

Beaumes de Venise Rouge

70% Grenache, 25% Syrah 5% Viognier, hand harvested from vineyards planted on limestone soils. After strict hand sorting, the grapes are tank fermented. The resulting wine is fresh with cherry and blackfruit aromas and flavors.
