Cholila Ranch

Named after the ranch owned by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Cholila Ranch is produced in one of the most remote wine producing regions in the world, the vast arid desert of Neuquen, Patagonia. Lucas Nemesio manages this remarkable estate with Roberto de la Mota, the son of legendary Argentine winemaker Raul de la Mota, in charge of a talented winemaking team.

Malbec

Cholila is the name of a town in Patagonia, but more famously, it was the location of Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid's ranch. The outlaws bought the ranch in 1901 and lived there for about 4 years before they were forced to sell it & flee to evade detectives.

Cholila Ranch Malbec shows a deep purple color, and aromas of ripe plum and mulberry with violet hints. Ripe black fruits and fig on the palate combine with touches of smoke and vanilla. Powerful yet balanced with a persistent finish.
