Chateau Lavergne

The Abbey of La Sauve Majeure was founded in 1079 by the Duke of join Abbot Saint Gerard. He devoted all his life to the abbey but had also a passion for winegrowing meeting as frequent as possible winegrowers around the Abbey. His involvement had a great impact on their spirits and his name engraved on memories.

Location : Selection of plots of land in the A.O.C. Entre-Deux-Mers, more
precisely around Rauzans and La Réole.
Soil : chalky-clay and sandy-clay.

Bordeaux Rouge

Blend: 65% Merlot 35% Cabernet Sauvignon


Vinification: Traditional winemaking; total stalking; fermentation with regular pump overs; maturing in tanks with control of temperature during 15 to 20 days.


Appearance: intense robe of purple color. Nose: roasted moccha and vanilla notes. Palate: confirms the feeling of volume and richness on the final with intense fine notes of vanilla.
