Chateau du Levant

Chateau Du Levant dates from the 18th Century and has belonged to the David family for several generations. Today, Jerry DAVID is managing this property of 25 hectares. The property is located on the table-land of Haut-Barsac, adjacent to Chateau Climens. Its location allows it to benefit from the Sauternes microclimate. The particularity of the Haut-Barsac “terroir” is a red and clay soil, which is situated on a fragmented chalky layer. Most of vines are surrounded by small stone walls. The main grape-varieties are Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle.
